So I mentioned bout my new camera in my previous post. Photos were taken yesterday right after I went to collect my new camera! My day started in the morning, my sis brought me to a really nice salon, Urban Hair where she is sponsored.. so lucky, free haircuts and dye. Unfortunately I did not snap any photos there because I did not have the camera then.
Right after an hour long session of haircut, went to collect my renewed passport at ICA building and off I went to collect my camera somewhere near Tai Seng. Small office and was greeted by a super friendly indian old man. Btw I bought my camera from DD electronics, it's an online electronics store. Cheapest I can find anywhere I will highly recommend that site!
I swear the moment I unboxed it, I immediately fell in love with it. I quickly rushed back home but first I picked Jean up. She wasn't too pleased with the camera, I really paid all my attention to the camera the whole day and none to her.
Anyway our plan for the afternoon was to follow her to a job interview for an indian art gallery (which she got in!) and to the botanical gardens where we will have cake @ food for thought
Our plan was only to have cake at the botanic garden. But i drifted off with my camera and here are the pics!
Jean mocking her mom's signature pose(right)
Illegal tortoise gathering on a little island.
Majestic
as F. I expected swans but there countless of pigeons. I absolutely
love this picture. There happen to be another pigeon at the back of the
picture. I thought that the bokeh was too much for the pigeon at the
back to be seen :( love this picture anyway.
Cute little cat we spot hunting in the bushes.
And there was a wedding shoot! Check out the lady's expression.
Don't think I need any explanation on what this looks like.
Amused by the way this squirrel is eating, just hanging on by it's back legs.
Another funny looking squirrel that we met. This one seem more mentally challenged.
Jean's reaction after realising how far we drifted away thanks to me and
my camera. We were a good 20mins walk away from the location.
Another picture that I love. Really love how the hut stands out and contrast from the trees and skies.
We were
walking back and Jean suddenly said "I love this angle and how the sun
shines!" So I took this picture. Turns out pretty good!
Call from the indian art gallery informing her that she got the job! (y)
And those two cakes cost a bomb, but were fantastico.
Sweetie pie.
